HOUSTON (AP) Joe Johnson made a 16-foot fadeaway jumper with 1.4 seconds to play in overtime and the Phoenix Suns snapped the Houston Rockets' five-game winning streak, 99-97 Monday night.
Shawn Marion had 17 of his 29 points in the second half, including a tying 3-pointer with 6 seconds left in regulation, as the Suns rallied from 21 points down in the second quarter and overcame a big performance by Yao Ming, who had 29 points, 19 rebounds and six blocked shots before ending their four-game losing streak.
Phoenix took their first lead, 67-65, with 56 seconds left in the third quarter on a pair of free throws by Zarko Cabarkapa. Amare Stoudemire scored 24 points and Johnson finished with 19 for the Suns.
Cuttino Mobley had 20 points and Steve Francis had 12 for the Rockets, who made 13 of 25 3-pointers.
