_ Amare Stoudemire, Suns, scored 27 points as Phoenix posted a 123-111 victory over Milwaukee.

_ Jamal Crawford and Eddy Curry, Bulls. Crawford had 25 points and nine assists and Curry had 25 points and 14 rebounds in Chicago's 87-81 win over New York.

San Antonio beat Boston for a 12th straight time _ 103-87 Saturday night. The Celtics' last victory over the Spurs came in January 1997, and their last win in San Antonio _ where they have also lost 12 straight _ was in February 1990. ... Milwaukee lost for the 16th time in a row at Phoenix, falling to the Suns 123-111. The Bucks' last victory in Phoenix was Feb. 21, 1987, 115-107.

APPLYING THE HEAT

Miami posted its fourth consecutive victory and seventh in eight games with a 101-69 rout of fading Philadelphia on Saturday. The Heat shot 50 percent from the field to win their seventh straight at home.

PLAYOFF HUNT

Utah moved into a tie with Denver for the eighth and final Western Conference spot with an 87-81 win over Atlanta on Saturday night. It was the second straight win for the Jazz and their fifth in seven games.

CHARLES IN CHARGE

Former NBA All-Star Charles Barkley, who played four seasons (1992-96) with Phoenix, was formally inducted into Suns' Ring of Honor on Saturday night. Barkley joins nine others in the Ring, including Kevin Johnson, Dan Majerle, Tom Chambers, Paul Westphal, Dick Van Arsdale, Connie Hawkins, Alvan Adams, Walter Davis and Joe Proski.
