Behind 28 points from Chris Webber, the Kings beat the Timberwolves 87-81 to draw even in the best-of-seven playoff series at 2.

"It was a win we needed to get," Kings coach Rick Adelman said.

Webber started his team off right by making all six of his shots in the first quarter, and helped lead a swarming Kings defense that forced Kevin Garnett to commit nine turnovers.

The win comes after the Kings blew a 10-point lead in the final minutes of Game Two and failed to finish an outstanding comeback in an overtime loss in Game Three.

Despite 40 percent shooting from the field and 24 turnovers, Minnesota overcame a 17-point deficit to tie the game in the third quarter.  "We just made bad decisions,? Timberwolves coach Flip Saunders said.  ?We were doing things I hadn't seen in a long time."

Brad Miller gave the Kings energy and scored 20 off the bench.  Mike Bibby had 15 points and 12 assists.  The win avoided what would have been the Kings? first three-game losing streak of the season.

Garnett had 19 points and 21 rebounds.  The Kings lost for the first time in four games at Arco Arena this season.

The teams go back to Minnesota for Game Five on Friday.

"It was just a win we had to get,? Adelman said.  ?Now it's a three-game series."
