It has taken awhile, but months of legal maneuvering and anguish about the delays by some people involved in the case has finally resolved. Court officials said Friday that a date had finally been set for the opening of the sexual assault trial of Kobe Bryant. The opening, in Eagle, Colo., will be Aug. 27 when lawyers will begin picking a jury, officials said.
