David Harrison the big man out of Colorado signed a multi-year rookie deal with the Indiana Pacers today. Harrison was selected with the last pick in this years draft; making him the last players selected who recieves a guaranteed contract.
"Under the NBA's rookie salary scale as the 29th overall pick, Harrison will receive a three-year deal worth at least $2.25 million with a club option for the 2007-08 season."
"The 7-foot, 285-pound Harrison entered the draft after his junior year at Colorado. He averaged 17.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.9 blocks last season and is the school's all-time leader in blocked shots with 225."
Harrison joins a packed Pacer's frontcourt; which includes players like Scott Pollard, Jermaine O'Neal, Jeff Foster, Austin Croshere, Al Harrington, Jonathan Bender, and more.
