Nene's strained left hamstring prevented him from playing Thursday night versus Minnesota.  The Nuggets dressed just 10 players in their home opener.

Coach Jeff Bzdelik expressed concern over Nene's injury, which Bzdelik said has forced Nene to miss all but two or three practices.

"It's hurt him and it's hurt us," Bzdelik said.

Calling himself "frustrated," Nene said he aggravated the hamstring Tuesday in his team's loss in Los Angeles.

"When I grabbed the ball in the high post, I did a strong step, a hard step. I felt it," he said.
