It looks like Vince Carter will be remain a Raptor for at least five more games.
Friday the Toronto Raptors placed Carter on the injured list with a strained left Achilles' tendon meaning the high flying forward will be out of action for at least five games. Carter has been wanting out of Toronto all season and the Raptors have been shopping him, with rumors indicating that the Trail Blazers, Grizzlies, Knicks and Hornets are all possible destinations.
Carter was hurt in the first minute of the second half in Toronto's 90-86 overtime loss at Detroit on Wednesday.
"It's just something that's been bothering me for three years," Carter said. "I want to let it settle down and get better instead of having it nag me."
"Once your Achilles' is done, that's pretty much a tough comeback," Carter said. "You can probably name a few that have bounced back after a torn Achilles' and have had a career still, so I'm just going to take precautions and make sure it's healthy."
