The Miami HEAT announced today that they have activated Steve Smith from the injured list and placed Wang Zhi-Zhi on the injured list with an upper respiratory infection.

Smith was obtained by the HEAT in a trade on February 24th and placed on the injured list on February 26th  with a lower back strain without playing a game. In 37 games with Charlotte this season, he averaged 7.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 17.2 minutes per game. His last game in a HEAT uniform was on November 6, 1994 at Phoenix.

Zhi-Zhi has appeared in 17 games for the HEAT so far this season, averaging 2.2 points in 4.2 minutes per game.
