In February 2003, back when Jamal Crawford was still with the Bulls and Ray Allen was swapped from the Bucks to the SuperSonics, Allen asked Crawford, a Seattle native, about life in the Northwest.
"I told him when he got traded that he would love Seattle," said Crawford, who went to Seattle's Rainier Beach High School. "That's home. It's the best city, very laid-back, the people there ... It's just nice. And Ray fell in love with it. He lives there now and we worked out all this summer together."
Allen will be a free-agent this offseason and it remains unclear whether he will be resigned.
