Any opportunity the Sonics might have had to resign Ray Allen before he becomes an unrestricted free-agent at the end of this season appear to be finished.

Allen said no discussions are scheduled and that he did not see any reason to schedule more talks, and that he was resigned to becoming a free agent this summer.

?There?s not really anything left to discuss unless there is something new,? he said. ?There?s no point in going over the same stuff. And the season is over in a month.?

Allen is thought to be seeking $90 million over five years, while the Sonics are offering $68.65 million. His current contract, which pays him $14.625 million this season, expires July 1.
