Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News is reporting that Chris Mullin may elect to trade either Mike Dunleavy or Mickael Pietrus in order to improve the Warriors frontcourt.
Small forward is the Warriors' deepest position and they could elect to deal one of these two players to balance their line-up.
Samuel Dalembert, Stromile Swift and Theo Ratliff are three players Mullin would be interested in acquiring.
With Murphy under a longterm contract, Mullin might want to trade Dunleavy, the less athletic of the two players.
Another option would be for Mullin to package Dunleavy, the former third overall pick, along with the Warriors' lottery selection this year for Andrew Bogut.
