It was the ?Ray Allen Show? Sunday evening in Sacramento. The soon-to-be free agent had a career night to lift the Seattle Supersonics to victory 115-102 and a 3-1 lead over the Kings.
With Seattle trailing most of the game it seemed inevitable that the Kings would tie up the series, the Kings were hot from the field and the Sactown crowd was noisy. But it was Allen who constantly provided the Sonics with the lift they needed hitting clutch shot after clutch shot to stave the Kings attempts to pull away.
Jerome James continued his torrid playoff run and move toward a hefty free-agent contract by scoring 17 points in the win.
Peja Stojakovic led Sacramento with 27 points, but didn't have a point in the first 11 minutes of the fourth quarter. The Kings had the game but could not put the Sonics away.
The Sonics can now clinch the series in Seattle with game 5 set to take place on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
