Former All-Star and current TNT studio analyst Charles Barkley said in an interview that he is interested in becoming an executive with a club.
"I want to be an owner or a general manager. If they called me tomorrow with a good GM job, I would take it."
With so many former players being hired to run teams, such as Chris Mullin with Golden State, Danny Ainge with Boston and Isiah Thomas with New York, there is a definite market for owners who want someone with first hand experience on the floor making personnel decisions.
