Mark Cuban appeared satisfied with the performance of his club on Friday night, following their exit from the playoffs, though he did admit that playing against Steve Nash, instead of with him made a huge difference.

"I'm proud of our guys. I can't tell you how proud I am," Cuban said. "There was a moment after Steve didn't re-sign where I thought ... what the hell are we going to do?

"I would do it exactly the way we did it all over again," Cuban said. "I think we came out ahead of the game. Our nucleus has a future. I'm ecstatic the way Avery has approached the team. I'm ecstatic with the way the guys have responded to him."
