Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor said Kevin Garnett never has told him that the All-Star objects to P.J. Carlesimo becoming the Wolves coach.

People close to the organization claim that if Garnett had a say, the coach to replace Flip Saunders would be Paul Silas.

Taylor said Silas has been interviewed and has interest in the job.

Taylor also said Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo has not shown any interest in the job.

GM Jim Stack is also expected to stay with the club after his contract expires this summer.
