Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade is in Detroit with the team, however, his status is uncertain for Game 6 against the Pistons due to a strained right rib muscle suffered in Game 5.

Wade did not practice with the team on Friday.

"He definitely didn't look like one of the top 50 beautiful people when he came in this morning," backcourt mate Damon Jones said, referring to Wade's recent inclusion on People magazine's annual list.

Heat coach Stan Van Gundy has said he has no plans to sit Wade for Game 6 if at all possible.

"That would not be my preference, no," Van Gundy said. "My preference would be to play my best players every game."

Privately though, players are not as confident

Heat center Shaquille O'Neal seems to think Wade will play though.

"If Dwyane plays or doesn't play, we're still going to Shaq you to death," O'Neal promised.
