Chris Duhon watched from the sideline as his teammates practiced Friday at the Berto Center, but the second-year guard could be on the floor when the Bulls play host to the Utah Jazz on Saturday night at the United Center.

"I feel better, just not 100 percent," said Duhon, who has a bone bruise on his right knee. "There is a real good chance I will play [Saturday]. I didn't practice; I did more conditioning stuff. I feel like I can compete at a high level."

Duhon, who also suffered a mild concussion when he took a fall after driving to the basket in an exhibition game against Minnesota, is learning to play with pain. He missed a game due to injury Wednesday night against Golden State for the first time in his brief NBA career. He didn't miss any games because of injury at Duke.

Trainer Fred Tedeschi fears Duhon's soreness could linger.

"The wear and tear from running and planting and jumping and things like that probably is going to go on for a while," Duhon said. "I will just have to learn how to play through the pain."

Coach Scott Skiles said he hopes Duhon will be ready for game action on Saturday.

"We just miss his presence in general when he's not out there," Skiles said.
