Tim Thomas has been a Bull for less than two months but already he is prepared to move on.

He said Monday he believes the Bulls want to trade him.

He prefers they do it sooner rather than later.

"It's just a waste of time being here if I'm not going to play and help the team," Thomas said before the Bulls played the Golden State Warriors late Monday night. "On the other hand, it seems like it's a waste of time for the organization. So let's just shake hands and go about it and part ways."

Thomas had not played in three straight games heading into the Bulls' six-game road swing.

Reached at his Deerfield office, Bulls general manager John Paxson said a trade isn't in the works.

"I have not spoken to another team about Tim, or any other player on our roster for that matter, in terms of a trade this early in the season," he said.
