Milwaukee point guard T.J. Ford injured his left foot early in the Bucks' game against the Miami Heat on Tuesday night and was not expected to return.

Ford was fouled hard by Miami's James Posey as he drove to the basket with 7:52 remaining in the first quarter. Ford was escorted to the Bucks' bench during a timeout. He made two free throws following the timeout, but then was promptly removed from the game.

Taken to the locker room for treatment, Ford was diagnosed with a mid-left foot sprain.
