The Minnesota Timberwolves recalled rookie center Dwayne Jones from their D-League affiliate in Florida on Wednesday to shore up their banged-up frontcourt.

Starting center Michael Olowokandi has been bothered by bursitis in his right elbow, and backup Mark Madsen left in the first quarter of Monday's game against Phoenix with a bruised back. Both players were listed as questionable for Wednesday night's game against Seattle.

The Timberwolves assigned Jones to Florida of the D-League on Nov. 4. He has appeared in 10 games for the Flame, making nine starts and averaging 9.7 points and 30.6 minutes per game. He leads the D-League in blocked shots (2.1) per game and ranks second in rebounding (11.6).
