Suns owner Robert Sarver is expected to give Coach Mike D'Antoni more control over personnel with Bryan Colangelo departed to Toronto.

The assistant general manager, David Griffin, could be in line for more responsibility and could fill a similar role as R.C. Buford's in San Antonio.
