The Phoenix Suns have activated forward/center Amar? Stoudemire.

Stoudemire has been inactive for the team?s first 66 games after undergoing surgery to repair a joint surface defect in his left knee on October 11, 2005.

The Suns (45-21) own the league?s fourth-best record despite the absence of the 23-year-old, who was the only NBA player ranked in the top 10 in points (26.0, 5th) and field goal percentage (.559, 2nd) last season.

The 6-10, 245-pound forward/center has not appeared in a game since June 1, 2005 when the Suns were defeated 4-1 in the 2005 Western Conference Finals vs. the eventual NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs.

Phoenix hosts the Portland Trail Blazers (20-47) at 7 p.m. tomorrow at the US Airways Center.
