After spraining his ankle against the Grizzlies on Tuesday and missing Wednesday's game against Houston, Seattle's Rashard Lewis was back on the court against the Lakers on Friday, but perhaps he shouldn't have been.
Lewis struggled against the Lakers, making five of 16 shots and scoring 11 points, his lowest scoring total since scoring eight against Memphis on March 8 according to the Associated Press, and then was on the sidelines again Sunday night as the Sonics took on Portland.
"I think he felt a responsibility to play against the Lakers and I think he felt good enough to go," Seattle coach Bob Hill said. "He feels like he needs to take tonight off."
Hill is hopeful Lewis can play either Tuesday night against Houston or Friday in Portland.
