Wolves rookie Rashad McCants suffered a sprained right ankle with 9:21 left in the game when he made a jumper and then landed awkwardly on a defender's foot, rolling over backwards in pain. He left the game with 9:01 remaining and went into the training room for treatment; he did not return.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press states that McCants said he was in some pain after the game but hopes his ankle improves enough for him to play tonight in Houston as the Wolves continue their final road trip of the season.
