Ben Wallace is an unrestricted free agent this summer and is coming off winning his 4th Defensive Player of the Year award.

"It's been a hell of a ride, and we're not done yet," team president Joe Dumars said. "And make no mistake -- this guy (Ben Wallace) is the cornerstone to everything we do. It started with him, it started with what we've done so far, and we look forward to many more years of him doing what you've seen him do over the years."
