Richard Jefferson is listed as doubtful for tonight's Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, but according to the Miami Herald the Nets swingman left open the possibility of playing.

Jefferson walked without crutches or a severe limp before New Jersey's practice Tuesday afternoon.

''If you have an opportunity to play you try, but you also have to try not to jeopardize later games,'' said Jefferson, who wore a protective boot. ``All bets are off. The line is 50-50. I'm not in any kind of excruciating pain. I feel good.''
