Richard Jefferson was a suprise starter for the Nets on Wednesday, two nights after suffering a bone bruise on his right heel and ankle.

"I might not be the crash test dummy that I normally am, but I'll still be out there playing pretty hard," Jefferson said. "Players always want to play. Players always want to win."

Jefferson ended up playing 35 minutes, going 8-16 from the field for 16 points, but the Heat evened the series at 1-1 with a 111-89 win.
