Jarrett Jack, guard for the Portland Blazers, will undergo surgery to remove scar tissue and loose particles from his left ankle on Friday. His recovery time is expected to take 8-10 weeks.
"Jarrett played the entire season on an ankle that he badly sprained prior to the draft last year," said Portland general manager John Nash. "It never healed fully and he should be physically superior this coming season as a result of this procedure."
