Noel Felix asked the Sonics to waive him and the club obliged on Monday. Felix, who was also pursued by Real Madrid, wants to sign a multi-year deal with Maccabi Tel-Aviv.

Felix said last week that he'd likely play overseas prior to coming back to the NBA.
