Reggie Evans, one of a glut of big men on Nuggets roster, is more concerned with turning around Denver's 0-2 start than he is with complaining about his minutes.

"We got to find a way to get wins. That's the big concern," said the 6-foot-8 Evans after Sunday's practice at the Pepsi Center. "I come from a place where you got to earn everything you get. Yes, it's a bit tough (not playing), but by the same token you have to be positive, you still have to be a professional."

Joe Smith, a 6-10 power forward and the overall No. 1 pick in the 1995 NBA draft, also is caught in the logjam and has yet to see any playing time.

"Being a competitor, I want to get out there and play. But I understand the coach's situation and the situation of the team. We have so many big men and there are only a certain amount of minutes in the game," said Smith, who will be a free agent after this season.
