The Denver Nuggets have assigned guard Julius Hodge to their NBA Development League affiliate, the Colorado 14ers, team Vice President of Basketball Operations Mark Warkentien announced today.

?We view this as a 30-day rehabilitation assignment for Julius,? said Warkentien.  ?The most important thing he needs right now is to play and this assignment gives him that opportunity.  In a month, we think he?ll be ready to come back and help us.?

Hodge is the fourth player assigned to a D-League affiliate this season. He joins Bobby Jones and Louis Williams of the Philadelphia 76ers, as well as Ryan Hollins of the Charlotte Bobcats. Jones, Williams and Hollins are all currently playing with the Fort Worth Flyers.
