Jose Calderon, guard for the Toronto Raptors, was taken to the hospital Sunday after being carried off the floor on a stretcher.

While battling for a rebound with Warriors swingman Mickael Pietrus, Calderon went down to the floor. He immediately clutched his back and yelled to the bench for help.

Calderon was conscious as he was fitted with a neckbrace and carried off the floor.

"I think all the players are a little shook after what happened to Pape (Sow) this summer," Raptors head coach Sam Mitchell said, referring to an injury sustained by forward Pape Sow in summer league. "Jose means a lot to us. Right now, basketball is secondary to Jose. We just hope he's OK."
