The Warriors were embarrassed by the Miami Heat on Friday night and Baron Davis admitted that family problems are getting in the way of his play.
``Basically, I fault myself for the way we've been playing,'' Davis said. ``I've got a lot of personal issues going on off the court, family problems, and I've let them get in the way. We've talked about it, and I'm not going to let it happen again.''
Davis did say the problems were not related to the health of his grandmother, Lela Nicholson.
``I still have a job, and I have to give my teammates 110 percent of me as a basketball player,'' said Davis, who was absent from practice Thursday to deal with the situation. ``I felt like I haven't been doing that. I've been worrying and thinking about it too much, and I have to use basketball as my safe haven and my way to relieve some of the stress and pressures.''
