Following an NBA callup and lone 10-day contract from the Memphis Grizzlies, Will Conroy will not continue with the team and is expected to return to the D-League. Considered the top point guard in the D-League after having averaged double-digit assist figures for much of the season, Conroy was named to the All-Star game on February 18th and will now almost certainly be there.

Replacing him in Memphis will be 6-4 point guard Junior Harrington, who played in Memphis' training camp and was the last player cut from the roster. He will sign a 10-day contract tomorrow, according to informed sources. The 26 year old Harrington, a graduate of Division II Wingate University, has two years of NBA experience under his belt after having caught on with the Denver Nuggets in 2002-2003 and then with the New Orleans Hornets in 2004-2005. He spent last season with Pamesa Valencia in the ACB league, Spain.
