Jason Richardson, guard for the Warriors, was fined $35,000 by the NBA on Thursday afternoon for what the league called inappropriate interaction with a fan.
The incident, which occurred with 21.9 seconds left in Game 5 at American Airlines Center, came about when Richardson tried a 3-pointer, then fell into the courtside seats near the corner of the court.
"Nothing happened," Richardson said after the Warriors' morning practice at Oracle Arena. "That's what happens every game. I think they're trying to make it more. They're trying to get any advantage they can and we'd probably be doing the same thing if it was one of their top guys.
"So they're just trying to get any advantage they can. Nothing really happened."
