The Lakers still are looking for a veteran point guard, and Derek Fisher is someone they are considering, sources said Tuesday.

The Lakers and Fisher's new agent have been in contact and are trying to negotiate a deal to bring the 6-foot-1, 185-pound guard back to Los Angeles.

But the issue with the Lakers and Fisher is how much money he wants and the amount of years he wants. It is the same issue the Lakers have with free-agent guard Steve Blake.

Fisher is seeking a three-year deal worth $5 million in the first year and containing 8 percent raises for the next two, sources said. The Lakers, sources said, might be willing to pay that amount.
