When asked by Eddie Sefko of the Dallas Morning News whether or not he thought Chris Webber or P.J. Brown would end up in a Mavericks uniform, Dallas head coach Avery Johnson had this to say:

"Ooh, I hope so. But we'll have to wait and see. Either of those guys would be a tremendous asset in terms of a role-playing guy for a team. But they have some other opportunities that they're looking at. So we'll have to wait and see."
