The Warriors' forgotten center, Kosta Perovic, made his debut against Zalgiris Kaunas on Monday, and in 15 shaky minutes, Perovic showed exactly why Nelson has been averse to using him.

Perovic was beaten by 7-foot-5 Lithuanian center Eureljus Zukauskas on the opening jump, then went back on defense and stood like a statue as Zukauskas twirled around him for a layup.

The 7-2 center finished with two points, two blocks and one rebound, proving that among the Warriors' young big men, Perovic is the furthest away from contributing.

"He's got a lot of work to do," Nelson said.
