Nenad Krstic did not have his contract extended before Wednesday's deadline.

In his first game since Dec.22, when he tore his left ACL, Krstic scored 10 points in just under 20 minutes during the 112-103 overtime win.

The knee injury is likely the only reason the Nets did not extend Krstic's deal. He knows he has to prove he's healthy before the Nets make a commitment to him. Krstic's priority during the preseason was getting back on the floor, not worrying about his contract. "I feel normal," Krstic said after the win. "I feel like I'm back. It really felt great for me. It was a good day for me."
