Indiana's Eric Gordon set two school records last week, and he's only getting started.

The freshman guard was named the Big Ten's co-player of the week Monday, sharing the honor with Michigan State sophomore Raymar Morgan.

Gordon scored 33 points against Chattanooga last week, breaking George McGinnis' school record for most points in a debut game (26 in 1970). He also made 7-of-11 3-pointers in the game and 8-of-10 free throws, while connecting on nine of his final 13 shots from the field.

His encore Sunday was a 21-point, three-assist performance in a blowout of Longwood.

With 54 points in his first two games, Gordon passed McGinnis again by producing the most points in his first two games of any Hoosiers' player. McGinnis scored 52 in his first two games.
