According to reports from ESPN.com on Monday, Arizona interim Coach Kevin O'Neill will succeed Lute Olson as the full-time coach when Olson decides to retire.

O'Neill, who has guided the Wildcats to a 7-2 record while Olson takes a season-long leave of absence, will reportedly replace the Hall of Fame coach when the 73-year-old Olson retires.

Olson said he planned on returning for the 2008-09 season after his divorce with his second wife Christine was made public on December 8.
