It took overtime, but the Portland Trail Blazers downed the Atlanta Hawks on Monday afternoon at Philips Arena in Georgia. Travis Outlaw led the Blazers with 23 points and 4 rebounds, while Joe Johnson starred for the Hawks with 37 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds of his own. Atlanta outrebounded Portland by seven, but the Blazers shot 46% from the floor, against just 43% for the Hawks. Johnson tied the game with 31 seconds remaining on a pair of free throws to force the extra period, but Outlaw drilled a jumper with just one second left on the clock in overtime to give Portland the win.

Ryan Gomes made a pair of free throws with less than a minute remaining against the Golden State Warriors on Monday to give the Minnesota Timberwolves a 109-108 win in Oakland. Minnesota shot 50% from the field and outrebounded Golden State in the victory. Gomes led the Timberwolves with 35 points and 11 rebounds, and Al Jefferson added 21 and 12 of his own. The Warriors were led by Monta Ellis, who scored 28 points. The win was just the second for Minnesota this month and was just the second loss for Golden State in their last seven games.

The Memphis Grizzles earned a rare easy win on Monday, defeating the Chicago Bulls 104-90 at the FedEx Forum. The Bulls were led by Ben Gordon, who notched 25 points and dished 5 assists. Memphis shot 52% from the floor, while holding Chicago to just 36% shooting, and outrebounded the Bulls by four. Pau Gasol added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Grizzles as well.
