Just days after being traded from the Memphis Grizzles, where he has spent his entire NBA career, to the Los Angeles Lakers, Pau Gasol still doesn't know what happened.

"It's not easy to digest," Gasol told the Memphis Commercial Appeal. "You leave something that you've been committed to for such a long time -- all of a sudden you're on a plane going to a different team. It's pretty shocking."

"They made an aggressive move," Gasol added. "But I'm sad that I leave Memphis, a team I've been with for seven years and a team that's given me so much in many different ways. It's shocking. Right now I'm getting my mind together and digesting where I am. I've got mixed feelings. I'm happy to have this amazing opportunity to play on a great team and with a team that's ready to win."
