Mavericks' owner Mark Cuban sent an e-mail to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that should put to rest all rumors about a trade for Jason Kidd.

"We don't expect to do anything at all," Cuban said to the Star-Telegram.

He contacted other news outlets as well, including sending a colorful comment to The Sporting News, "Step away from your crack dealer."
