As the Lakers prepare for the Western Conference Finals against the Spurs, forward Trevor Ariza is doing his best to get back onto the court, according to The Los Angeles Daily News.

"He looked good today [Monday]. I wanted him to have another practice tomorrow in which he has an opportunity to play and get comfortable in what we're doing," Coach Phil Jackson said. "There's still some recognition he's reorienting himself to what we're trying to do."

Ariza ended practice with a reverse jam much to the delight of his teammates.

"But his athleticism is always a factor; he runs the lanes; he can cut well out of our triangle offense. His defense is aggressive, and he anticipates the pass. There are a lot of things that Trevor does naturally that are beneficial to the team and the way we play at both ends of the floor," Jackson added.
