Flip Saunders is expected to remain the head coach of the Pistons as he fulfills the final year of his contract, according to The Detroit News.

Saunders met with team President Joe Dumars on Saturday and in not so many words was told that he will be back for another season.

He will supervise a workout of draft candidates Wednesday further confirming that he will return.
