The Timberwolves entered the final days of preparation for the NBA Draft on Wednesday by hosting Kansas swingman Brandon Rush, according to The Associated Press.

He is projected to be drafted toward the lower half of the lottery down into the later first round.

Timberwolves' Vice President of Basketball Operations Kevin McHale said Rush is "way, way better" than he was a few years ago.

"He has really matured his game. Really a nice player," McHale said. "He defends and catches and shoots and spreads the court. And really a good kid."
