The Golden State Warriors have signed Anthony Randolph, whom the club selected with the 14th overall selection in last month?s NBA Draft, to a contract, Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Chris Mullin announced today. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.
Randolph, who celebrates his 19th birthday today (born July 15, 1989), was an early entry candidate for the NBA Draft after playing one season at LSU, where he averaged 15.6 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.13 steals, and 2.26 blocks in 31 contests (all starts). He ranked third in the Southeastern Conference in rebounding and blocked shots while also ranking 12th in scoring.
