Pistons' guard Rodney Stuckey wants to add an outside jumper to his offensive arsenal as he heads into his second NBA season.

Stuckey is working on shooting from the three-point line to the paint.

"I think that's just him maturing in his game," Coach Michael Curry said. "I think he realizes he can't always get to the basket."

"We've told him he can't always use strength to get to the basket, although we want him to get into the paint. But when he gets to the point where he can pull up from 12 to 15 feet and he's making those shots like lay-ups, then that's going to elevate his game to another level."
