Jermaine O'Neal is finding his way with the Raptors this month as he attempts to step straight into a starting role with his new team.
"When you're a starter coming into a team that the other four guys have already been here, I have to get on their page really quick and that's tough," O'Neal said. "(Yesterday) was the first day that I really kind of put everything together and really felt comfortable with the flow of the offense and also just finding my way."
O'Neal has averaged 14.4 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.9 blocks in 724 career games.
"You see the effect he has as he gets healthier and healthier," coach Sam Mitchell said of O'Neal. "The space that he demands and commands in the post just makes us a different basketball team."
